The Dreaded SSAT: What You Need to Know

To help level the playing field, private schools use standardized testing. The admissions process can be overwhelming—especially for public school families transitioning into a private school environment. With standardized testing, individual and group interviews, campus visits/tours, and observations, the entire process can be taxing—on both the student and family.

Tips:

• Generally, the last SSAT private schools will accept will be the exam in early March. Be sure to confirm details with your specific school!
