We can all agree that the last 8 weeks of school have not looked normal. Who would of thought our preschoolers would have scheduled Zoom calls, Google Meets, and Microsoft Team meetings? Our high-schoolers are sequestered to their rooms, glued to their screens in order to tackle a never-ending load of academic work.

But just how long should we expect our kids to be in “school mode” in this new normal of COVID-19? Should it mimic a 6-7 hour traditional school day?
